TRAVEL WITH PEACE OF MIND…KNOWING THAT YOU’RE PROTECTED

Individuals, corporate travelers, mission groups, students, and tour groups traveling abroad can all benefit from our Travel Health Services. Infectious diseases such as typhoid, yellow fever, cholera, and meningitis still exist in countries that do not have the sanitary and health standards of the United States.

To prevent contracting such diseases, our practice provides international travelers with required and recommended prophylactic immunizations and pre-travel counseling services throughout the year.

TRAVEL HEALTH offers pre-travel consultations regarding the potential health hazards associated with specific travel destinations as well as recommended vaccines and other tips to help travelers stay healthy. Additionally, we perform post-travel exams, diagnosis and treatment of patients who are ill when they return, and can assist in the care of patients who acquire illnesses while overseas.

Our Travel Medicine Services Include:

  • Individualized pre and post-travel consultations
  • Administration of all required and recommended immunizations
  • International certificates of vaccination (required for regions with yellow fever)
  • Malaria chemoprophylaxis when indicated
  • Medication for self-treatment of traveler’s diarrhea, altitude sickness, and jet lag
